Welcome to the lab - today we're creating a galaxy!
Kids put on their lab coats and become astronomy artists to create their own universe.
They experiment with color, texture, and tools to create nebulas, planets, and constellations of their very own.
1.5 hour Galaxy Lab Party agenda:
Intro Activity (15 min): Birthday Card / Party Favor making. We’ll have a table set up for kids to jump into a simple welcome activity to celebrate the birthday kid!
Theme Intro (15 min): Our Scribbles party guide will transform the party into astronaut artists and help partygoers imagine they’re in outer space! They’ll look through a telescope and describe what they see, and our Scribbles party guide will help them select the materials to help create what they imagine.
Shared Project (45 min): Kids will use their materials to create their dream galaxy! As they finish up their projects, they will add them to a shared landscape to create one big party ‘galaxy’.
Photo Op (15 min): With the shared galaxy, kids will pose to take ‘floating in space’ photos with props to their hearts’ content! This is a great time to start setting up cake/snacks/presents if desired.
